T&TCB praises Dr Gloudon Leo Doodnath, 2nd Vice President of the Trinidad & Tobago Cricket Board, & Chairman of the Board's Regional Matches Committee, has lauded and praised officials and staff of UWI SPEC, for all that they have done in hosting the last two of Trinidad & Tobago's regional four day matches, the first against the Combined Colleges & Campuses Team, which started February 6, and the second, back to back, against the Leeward Islands, which ended on Monday. According to Doodnath "The officers and staff were very professional, extremely diligent, overly co-operative and most dependable." He stated that SPEC Administrative Director Dr. Iva Gloudon " was especially helpful and ensured that all logistics were expertly worked out through her pro active and hands-on approach." Doodnath was also high in praise of the ground staff, headed by chief curator Ramnath Persad and including Narendra Maharaj, who he emphasised " went far and beyond the call of duty to ensure that the pitch & ground conditions remained remarkably well prepared." Doodnath also stated that it was "a joy to witness the thirty odd students removing and laying down the covers," ever so often because of the inclement weather, "with such grace and flow in their movement." |
