Ticket selling like ‘hot bread’ for Friday’s final Test
With the good showing by the West Indies team in the five-Test
Digicel cricket series now taking place against England, ticket sales
for the final match, which starts on Friday at the Queen’s Park Oval,
has been described as very good.
This was revealed on Wednesday by Senior Ticket Agent, Rhonda Doopan
at the Queen’s Park Oval in Port-of-Spain.
She said that sales have been good and it is looking pretty well for
the next few days.
“Ticket sales have been good over the past few days, and with the
regional team doing well in the series, we expect sales to go up just
prior to the Test which starts on Friday,” Doopan said.
She added that the Oval has a seating capacity between 18,000 to
20,000 including Corporate Boxes and it seems that a massive crowd could
be attending the five-day fixture.
Tickets are priced at TT $150 for seats close to the Corporate Boxes
and TT $120 for anywhere else except the Trini Posse Stand.
Doopan said that tickets for the Twenty20 match on March 15, starting
at 2 pm at the Oval, are going at $300, except for the Trini Posse
Stand.
West Indies lead the series 1-0. |
