T&TCB, BGTT quadrangular tourney bowls off today

The T&TCB/BGTT quadrangular U-19 tournament will bowl off today at two venues in Central Trinidad.

The tournament has been organised to prepare the national team for the TCL West Indies Regional Youth Competition in Jamaica in July/August.

The teams will be led by T&T U-19 players Yannic Cariah, Yannick Ottley, Akeil Cooper and Nicholas Alexis and will take place at the National Cricket Centre in Balmain, Couva, and at the Inshan Ali Park in Preysal, starting at 10 am.

Fixtures:

• Today - Cariah X1 v Ottley X1 at NCC; Cooper X1 v Alexis X1 at Inshan Ali Park.
• Thursday - Cooper X1 v Cariah X1 at Greig St, Balmain; Alexis X1 v Ottley X1 at NCC.
• May1 - Ottley X1 v Cooper X1 at NCC; Cariah X1 v Alexis X1 at Greig St. Balmain.

Central Zone U-13 screening on Thursday

All players interested in representing Central Zone in the upcoming BGT&T Under-13 Inter-Zone tournament, are requested to attend briefing and net sessions at the National Cricket Centre in Balman, Couva on Thursday from 3.30 pm.
