TTCB – News Ramdhanie elevated in South Zone
JAI RAMDHANIE has replaced Carl Birjah as the secretary of the South Zonal Council of the Trinidad and Tobago Cricket Board (TTCB). Ramdhanie was appointed to the post after being elected unopposed in a by election held last month after Birjah having reached the age of 60 wanted to retire from cricket. Ramdhanie is 50-year-old and has been a committee member of the Williamsville Sports Association for the past ten years and secretary of the Poonah Sports club for 15 years. He has also been a member of the South Zone Council for four years during which he served as chairman of their Limited Overs Competition; chairman of the Seniors interzone competition; chairman of the Offseason 35 years and Over competition; and several other committees. Ramdhanie is presently a South Zone Representative to the Trinidad and Tobago Cricket Board and still plays cricket. His outstanding achievement as evidenced by his commitment to the administration of the game in south was being named South Zone’s Cricket Administrator of the Year 2009. |
