North/East Under-16s to play English team

THE Secondary Schools Cricket League (SSCL) has selected a combined North/East Under-16 team to take on a West Of England Schoolboys touring team at St Mary’s College Grounds on Serpentine Road, St James.

Aslim Mandol of Success Laventille Secondary will coach and Nigel Maraj of El Dorado East Secondary will manage the team.

The 50-over match will be played on April 1 and features several top youth players such as Anthony Simmons from Hillview College and Ewart Nicholson of El Dorado East Secondary.
