Cariah in T&T squad for clash with Lions
February 15, 2011

THE National Selectors have made just one change to the Trinidad and Tobago cricket squad for the third round match in the West Indies Four-Day tournament against the English Lions starting on Friday, February 18, 2011.

Middle-order batsman and part-time slow bowler Aneil Kanhai is omitted from the team which defeated the Combined Colleges and Campuses on Monday at the Sir Frank Worrell Ground at the University of the West Indies in St Augustine. In his place will be Yannic Cariah, the 18-year-old former West Indies Under-19 left-handed batsman.

T&T Squad:
D Ganga (captain), L Simmons, J Guillen, R Morton, Y Cariah, D Ramdin, I Khan, R Emrit, D Mohammed, A Jaggernauth, S Gabriel, S Ganga, A Allert

The Trinidad and Tobago team will train on Wednesday, February 16 from 9 am at the Sir Frank Worrell Ground at the University of the West Indies, St Augustine; and on Thursday, February 17 from 2 pm at the Queen's Park Oval in Port-of-Spain.

The English Lions will train at the Oval on Wednesday afternoon and on Thursday morning also at the match venue.

Sports Editors are also asked arrange photographic coverage of the training sessions and the regional match from Friday to Monday at the Queen's Park Oval in Port-of-Spain.
