Windies stars back for T&T in semifinal

THE TRINIDAD and Tobago cricket team has been boosted by the
inclusion of three star players who have just returned from overseas
duties with the West Indies at the World Cricket Cup in the Indian
subcontinent.
Hard-hitting allrounder Kieron Pollard, attractive frontline batsman
Darren Bravo and fast bowler Ravi Rampaul have been included in the
13-man squad announced on Wednesday for the crucial WI Cricket Board
Four-Day competition semi-final against Jamaica.
The match starts on Friday, April 1 at the Sir Frank Worrell Ground
at the University of the West Indies at St Augustine.
Making way for the inclusion of the trio are batsmen Tishan Maraj and
Nicholas Alexis; and quick bowler Atiba Alert who were in the squad that
defeated Guyana last weekend in the final preliminary round of the
regional championship.
