T&TCB call 26 players for Under-15 trial

THE TRINIDAD and Tobago Cricket Board has invited 26 players for a trial match to select the national Under-15 team for the West Indies Championship in July.

The trial match will be staged  on Wednesday and Thursday (May 18 and 19) from 9.30 am at the National Cricket Centre in Balmain, Couva.

Included in the 26-man squad are five players each from East, North and South East Zones. There is also one representative from Tobago and South West.

The regional Under-15 tournament , which was won in 2010 by Trinidad and Tobago will be contested over two days for the first time this year and is scheduled for July 2 to 16.

T&T Under-15 squad:

• East: Jeremy Solozano, Kwasi Williams, Brian Christmas, Jamalee Johnson, Afdal Khan
• South: Keron Kanhai, Jordan Samkaran, Shane Smith, Brian Deosaran
• Central: Nicolas Pooran, Justin Joseph, Varindra Jagroop
• North: Camillo Carimbocas, Jeremy Araujo, Jessie Bootan, Matthew Hollingsworth, Carl Vialva
• Tobago:  De Journ Charles
• South West: Keyron Ramlal
• South East: Satrughan Rambaran, Jerve Cummings, Jerron Maniram, Gabriel Blackwell, Dillon Mohammed
• North East: Brondon Sooklal, Darrion Ramdhanny
