TTCB – News Ex-skipper Ganga out of T20 squad FOR THE first time in nearly a decade Daren Ganga will not feature in the customary role of captain or player in the national team named on Thursday for the first regional tournament of 2012, the Caribbean T20 Championships early next month. Ganga who resigned as captain suddenly last month but made himself available for selection to play as a batsman failed to make the cut with the National Selectors as defending champions T&T look to successfully defend their title. The T&T team will be captained by wicketkeeper Denesh Ramdin and it is strengthened by the inclusion of allrounder Dwayne Bravo, back from injury and the globe-trotting Kieron Pollard who both did not take part in the tournament last year. Also included in the 14-man squad are West Indies Test players Lendl Simmons, Adrian Barath, Darren Bravo and Ravi Rampaul. Also picked are Jason Mohammed, the solid middle-order batsman and mystery spinner Sunil Narine who were recently called to the regional team for the current One-Day series against India. T&T Team:
