| TTCB – Results Carib 2020 Round of 16 - March 19th 2008 Perkins blasts Wanderers past Spoilers in 20/20 T&T’s opening batsman Williams Perkins continued his fine form with the bat, when he notched a swashbuckling half-century for W Connection Wanderers against Brand Source Spoilers on Wednesday in the Carib Beer 20/20 tournament In the final round of 16, Perkins stroked four fours and two sixes in a quickfire 81 off just 54 balls, to take Wanderers towards victory which came at 147 for two in 18.1 overs -- before he was dismissed. Spoilers won the toss, and played bravely to reach 145, thanks to Azad Mohammed's topscore of 59. Rajendra Mangallie had four wickets for 23 for Wanderers, and Sanjiv Gooljar, three for 34. CLICO Preysal eased past Munroe Road at Inshan Ali Park by ten wickets, with Man-of-the-Match Ryan Hurley grabbing three wickets for 15 runs, before returning in an unbroken opening partnership with Shazam Babwah. Babwah finished 59 not out, while Hurley ended one run short of a half century. Munroe Road were the only Division One casualty on the day. Ceramic Merry Boys had their encounter at St Mary's Ground with EYM Mico Sports Club rained out, while Queen's Park Cricket Club could not host Defence Force at the Queen's Park Oval for the same reason. Wednesday's 20/20 scores: At Inshan Ali Park: Munroe Road 111 (Kapil Harry 28, Gopaul Nanan 29; Ryan Hurley 3/15, Shazam Babwah 2/31, Anderson Bryce 2/14) v CLICO Preysal 112/0 in 10.3 (Shazam Babwah 59 n.o., Ryan Hurley 48 n.o.). Preysal won by ten wickets. At Gilbert Park: Spoilers 145 (Azad Mohammed 59; Rajendra Magalie 4/23, Sanjiv Gooljar 3/34) v W Connection Wanderers 147/2 (William Perkins 81, Joel Pamphile 31 n.o.). Wanderers won by eight wickets. At Pierre Road: Caldrac Sports 153/6 (Azad Mohammed 52, Daren Choon 49; Shastri Singh 2/20) v Alescon Comets 154/5 (Manoj Sirju 41, Suruj Ragoonath 24, Adrian Ali 23; Robert Mahabir 2/22). Comets won by five wickets. At Syne Village: Powergen 128/4 (Gibran Mohammed 21, Rishi Bachan 26, Sherwin Ganga 23 n.o.; Akiel Mollon 2/31, Anderson Persad 2/13) v Central Sports 84/9 (Mahendra Nagamootoo 36; Brent Harris 3/13 Varoon Samaroo 3/15, Farrell Jugmohan 2/21).
