Cruikshank, Kumar top players in Round three and four

Daron Cruickshank and Deepak Kumar have been announced as the top players in the third and fourth rounds respectively in the Eastern Credit Union National Cricket League.

Cruickshank, playing for Queen’s Park Oval was awarded for the game against Alescon Comets where he scored 156 runs and took three wickets for 21 runs in eight overs.

In the game against Invaders, Kumar from British American Aranguez Sports Club scored 81 runs and took six wickets for 45 runs in 16 overs to earn the Player of Round four.

Both young men were on hand at Eastern Credit Union’s La Joya facilities to collect their winnings from Group Executive Manager – Marketing, Research and Business Development at Eastern Credit Union, Nataki Kerr.

Eastern will continue to open savings accounts for all the players for each round of play for the duration of the National League. This is part of the Credit Union’s attempts to provide financial solutions for the clubs in keeping with their sponsorship agreement with the Trinidad and Tobago Cricket Board.

This is the second year of the Eastern Credit Union sponsored National Cricket League.
