SOUTH EAST ZONAL COUNCIL Over 35

St Julien wins three straight

ST JULIEN Sports scored a hat-trick of wins in the T&T Cricket Board South/East Zonal Council Sunday League Over 35 competition which bowled off on January 27. The well-organised club has secured convincing victories against Poole, Matilda Sports and Union. The tournament will continue over the weekend.

JANUARY 27TH

GROUP A:

Sancho St Julien Sports: 228 (33.3) (Jason Singh 50, Devendra Seepersad 43, Larry Arjoon 43, Steven Balkaran 5-53, Aaron Racha 2-34) vs Poole: 98 (17.4) (Partap Ramdhanie 25, Moonilal Rampersad 4-22). Sancho St Julien Sports won by 130 runs. 

GROUP B

Garth Road: 152 (19) (Stephen Boodhan 31, Stefan Charran 28, Clearence Mills 33, David Narinesingh 2-11) vs Starwars: 83 (8) (David Narinesingh 16, Christian Seepersad 5-18, Nathan Roopan 3-18). Garth Road won by 69 runs.

Matilda Sports 113 (25.1) (Devanand Mandee 20, Clavis Dookie 20 n.o, Boyie Ramjattan 4-20, Kurt Ragoonanan 3-24) vs St Julien United 114-3 (19.1) (David Akaloo 47 n.o, Deodath Anand 42 n.o, Miguel Guerra 2-11). St. Julien United won by 7 wickets.

Strikers: 256/8 (32) (Sylus Cooper 32, Trevor Williams 41, Adrian Cooper 35) vs Players: 101 (24)(Rossi Ramlogan 21, Jeston St. Clair 6-26). Strikers won by 155 runs

Union 94 (25.5) (Winston Panchoo 23 n.o, Gary Arjoon 3-18) vs Sancho St Julien 97/5 (13.3) (Devendra Seepersad 44, Larry Arjoon 21, Rodney Rahim 3-34). Sancho St Julien Sports won by 5 wickets.

Forest Reserve: 83 (19.3 ) (Renzo Troman 33, Nickey Ramdeo 3-16, Boodram Jaggessar 2-12) vs School Trace: 84/2 (14.4 ) (Krishna Ram 26). School Trace won by 8 wickets.

New Grant: 151 (26.2) (Brian Pascall 27, Sunil Chattergoon 21, Gary Urbain 3-18, Anthony Fredrick 2-21) vs Tristar: 41(Brian Pascall 3-16, Nicholas Boodhan 2-14, Stefan Sammy 2-6). New Grant won by 110 runs.

GROUP B

Strikers 184 (20) (Sheldon Williams 56 n.o, Irvin Willaims 47, Adrian Cooper 28, Jaggernauth Charran 2-29, Emmanuel Rampersad 2-22) vs Garth Road: 136 (20) (Stefan Charran 27, Brian Sookdeo 22, Jeston St Clair 4-19, Sheldon Williams 2-42). Strikers won by 48 runs

Matilda: 61 (Christopher Ramdeen 3-8, Kevin Singh 2-12) vs St Mary's: 67-2 (6.3) (Keeshan Gobin 20 n.o). St Mary's won by 8 wickets.
