South Zone Awards
November 7 2008

Juniors tipped for Club of the Year in South

The South Zonal Cricket Council will host it’s 27th annual prize giving ceremony on Friday November 7, at the Pleasantville Community Complex, San Fernando at 6.30pm.

Delivering the feature address will be president of the T&T Cricket Board (TTCB), Deryck Murray. Also to address the gathering will be CEO of the TTCB, Forbes Persaud. A number of prizes will be up for grabs and Juniors Sports  Club will be favoured to walk away with the major prize, that of ‘Club of the Year’.

Clarke Rochard won the South Zone division I title this season by two points over Juniors of Pleasantville. T&TEC Sports Club winners of division II and also the winners of the T&TEC 20/20 tournament will be looking to win the award ahead of Juniors.
