East retains U-15 title

East successfully defended its BGTT U-15 title, when it defeated North in the final by 57 runs in a rain interrupted contest at the National Cricket Centre in Balmain, Couva.

The match was reduced to 35 overs because of overnight and early morning showers which prevented a prompt start.

Leading the victory charge for East were Isiah Rajah and Anthony Simmons who figured prominently in the batting and bowling department.
