Belmont win in North Zone schools cricket
March 10, 2010

BELMONT Secondary crushed Tranquility Government Secondary by 85 runs in the North Zone Seniors Division of the Secondary Schools Cricket League recently.

Belmont Secondary, batting first made a strong total of 241 for eight. Kenrich Perry proved the catalyst for the significant total with a solid knock of 63.

He was aided by Steve Walcott (39) and Kristoff St John (30) in a good Belmont batting display.

St John then starred with the ball taking three for 41 with Narad Rogers and Kenrich Peters taking two wickets each to dismiss Tranquility for 156. Nicholas Boodoo top scored with 29 runs with Casis Mohammed finishing unbeaten on 22.
