Schaeffer Boys seal first win in Bamboo
March 16, 2010

SCHAEFFER Boys crushed Paradigm by 53 runs to seal their first win in Group “C” of the 2010 Bamboo Cricket League over the weekend at the Bamboo Grove Settlement No 1 Recreation Ground in Bamboo Settlement.

The win takes Schaeffer Boys to sixth in the standing with three points while Paradigm stay rooted to the bottom of the standings with no points after four matches.

Dwayne James slammed 32 runs and Anthony Siewah struck 17 as Schaeffer Boys, batting first, made 100 for seven from their 12 overs. Emmanuel James took two for eight in a solid bowling performance.

James returned with the ball and caused havoc with Teron Boyce as Paradigm were routed for 47. James took five for 12 and Teron Boyce two for four in the winning effort.
