SHOOTERS secured a thrilling three-wicket victory recently from the final delivery in their match against Spaniards in the Tableland Windball Cricket League at the George Village Recreation Ground in Tableland.

Spaniards made 68 for eight from their 12 overs. Aron Maingot (3/9) and Anil Manniram (2/8) had spectacular performances with the ball. Shooters made a terrible start in their run chase, slipping to 27 for five after six overs with Beharry taking four for 13 to bowl Spaniards back into the match.

Annan Manniram then swayed the match back in Shooters’ favour with a responsible innings. Manniram finished unbeaten on 20 to secure a tense victory.
